Stoneyburn travelled to north ayrshire to meet Killwining rangers and should have come home looking forward to a tie in the third round instead they have to do it all again at Stoneyburn this coming saturday, this emirates cup tie started in the worst possible start when in the fourth minute of the game Killwining took the lead  a high swung cross from the right was prodded home by the buffs no9 ,but Stoneyburn took ten minutes to pull themselves together and then started to press forward Gillies fouled 25yrds out saw Dunsmores resulting free kick rattle the bar and fall safely for Killwining, dunsmores causing problems up front ,robertson running in behind and Matonti and greig out wide putting in good crosses ,Stoneyburn are playing well callaghans got a grip of the midfield along with Gillies , a good cross by Matonti is flicked to Dunsmore who strikes from 20yrds and again cracks the bar with the keeper beaten once more ,macmillan and hughes are keeping the buffs attacks down to a minimum as the first half is coming to a close Stoneyburn are playing the better causing problems as gillis has another shot which flies past the post ,starting to wonder if its going to ge one of those days for the burney as the first half comes to an end H/T 0-1    Paul callaghan enters the play at the start of the Second with Killwining seeing a little more of the ball but Greig is equal to anything they throw into the box , dunsmore is holding the ball up well trying to bring the midfield forward ,the ever willing sean callaghan trying his luck from long range a few times ,flemings putting crosses into the box but the buffs defence are managing to stay strong , at this point Dunsmore and Robertsons replaced by Doonan and Pritchard ,with 20 minutes to go killwinning are starting to see a little more possesion and look like they might be starting to get a grip back on the game but it didnt last long as the last ten minutes belong to Stoneyburn ,we see sean callaghan again go close, his brother paul causing problems out on the right ,but as the 90min come and go we see ourselves going out of the cup,deep into injury time the 95th minute to be precise the Stoneyburn side of the erupts as Doonan cllects a Matonti cross turns a defender in the box lays it on a plate for PRITCHARD to sweeps it past the keeper into the goal the crowd go mad ,within the celebrations davie MACMILLAN falls against the railings managing to break them as he falls on his arse ,the veteran MACREADY manages to punch the injured gary bonnes on the mouth bursting his lip,  The replay takes part this saturday at Beechwood park come down and watch the second instalment of this emirates cup tie
